A Retreat So to Speak

Sometimes your soul needs replenishing. Sometimes the mind needs realigning. Sometimes the body needs rest.

I have been on a retreat. This retreat didn’t require a plane ticket or a backpack. This retreat didn’t require me to wander the forest or any guide. The retreat that that I’ve been on my friends was one that required me to take nothing and leave everything.

I have been in deep contemplation of my life and my purpose. After deep contemplation, I have come to realize myself. The one, who is only being and has removed all the masks of character. On my retreat into my mind, my heart, and my soul, I learned that there’s a place within myself that is untouched by the world.

As I began to let go of myself I have found the abode of myself. This home has no walls, no ceilings, not even any floors. It is as though I am planted in a vast nothingness. This nothingness is infinite and being without bounds, this nothingness encapsulates all things.

So here I am writing from I to I. I’ve known for a while that we all are connected, but the image of a mirror arises when setting my gaze on people, objects, and nature. If this perspective of life is real than all of existence is a grand illusion. Illusion in the sense that as something appears to the eye isn’t what it is inside.

As I look inside myself I see The Way of nature and of all things. So where am I to go from here? There is nowhere for me to go, for I have already arrived here, in the present. In the present I realize the beginning of all beginnings, where time is no more. When time has fallen away, our souls can rise. A soul that has risen will continue to rise as long as it’s in the present, where time’s chains are but rusty shackles that hold nothing and crumble in the light.

I write because I am the words written and the thoughts not yet conceived.

Exercise and Mental Health: 4 Reasons to Start Working Out Regularly NOW!!!

Bliss and Peace to everyone, hope you woke up on the right side of your bed this morning! The most important thing is we are blessed with another day to get it right and get it done , whatever that may mean to you in your life right now on your journey! Today I will talk about a very important topic, mental health, and how you can improve and maintain it without the pharmaceuticals.

I know we are in some crazy times right now, there’s a lot going on in the world around us and it can feel like a bit much. You could be feeling a little elevated stress, maybe more than just a little for some of you all im sure. But that’s all right! Breath in Bliss and exhale all the bullshit! You don’t need that poisoning your mind. There’s so much you want to do, and I know stressing isn’t one of them!

You could be feeling anxious, you know what I bet some of you are having issues getting to bed at night. Don’t let society say that this is a normal way of living because it’s not! IT’S NOT okay people we have to wake up. Not just get up out of bed, we have to wake up feeling that Bliss that comes with another day of air in our lungs!

So what do you do about it, you might wonder? Well, how am I going to be all right when in my head everything isn’t all right? Im not going to complicate this my fellow blissful beings, the answer is simple! EXCERCISE!!!!

Not just once a week or once a month. You got to put in some work everyday so that whenever you are going through life and stress tries to punch you in the face; you have the strength to take one on the chin and laugh it off. Depression tries to creep up on you but you hear it coming and shine the light of your inner bliss on it and it disappears. It can’t touch you!

Im going to give you five reasons to wake up and do some push-ups. When you roll out of bed just lay right on your back and hit some sit-ups, it will help you tremendously and you’ll feel the effects immediately!

1.) Improved Sleep:

So if you have trouble with sleeping, if you have self diagnosed yourself with insomnia, then you probably aren’t exercising. That or you’re not exercising enough! One thing that working out regularly does is it makes you use your body in ways you might not have used it. Whenever you are not moving your body is storing up that energy and whenever you got to rest your body is restless. It’s just a matter of not letting yourself be stagnant, we are created to move and when you don’t your body gets upset with you. Then when you want to fall asleep, your body is kind of like, “No, I don’t deserve to get rest, I haven’t work yet!” from experience working out every day especially an hour before bed will cure any sleep issues!

2.) Wake Up With More Energy:

I noticed that on the days I work out the following morning when I get out of bed I have more energy. It’s like my body got rest, so now it’s ready for more work. It wants me to move it and use it. Whenever you exercise regularly you just want to keep that energy flowing. I noticed that when I have more energy, my confidence is higher, and I don’t feel depressed! I’m ready to take on any challenge physically and mentally! Which brings me to my next point.

3.) Mental Strength, Not Just Physical Strength:

Okay my Blissful Beings as you may or may not know already we are three entities living together as one. The trinity of Being, our mind, our bodies, and our souls are all connected but separate. Whenever you work out, you are not just working your physical muscles; you are also exercising your mind and soul! In working the muscles you are also training the mind to stay focus and persevere through pain that you will find eventually subsides until the next wave of pain hits you. As we watch this pain come and go we get in touch with the soul of our being, the part that doesn’t feel any pain. So whenever you are living your life and enjoying your Bliss and something tries to interrupt that instead of feeling anxious you just connect with that deeper part of yourself that you found while exercising!

4.) Truly Enjoy Life:

To close this one out my fellow Blissful Beings when you exercise you can really tune into the sensations in your body. These sensations are like a dance of rises and falls, actively being conscious of them is the key to living a Blissful Life. In life we experience a wide range of sensations, but how conscious of them are we. Bring awareness to these sensations as we allow ourselves the opportunity to grow and also to move out of any internal trauma we may experience!

This is a brief list of benefits to exercising on the daily, but I know once you get started you will add to the list. All of us are unique individuals, and you may notice shifts and changes that you’ve never thought or dreamed possible. Just a Thought #2

While reading this morning I stumbled across something I wanted to share with you my fellow Blissful Beings. Let me know what you think?

This made me think about how so many people I’ve encountered live their lives afraid of dying, and therefore afraid to truly live. How many times growing up have you been told not do something because of the danger it entails. What if we dared to embrace death in society as a natural occurrence that is to be celebrated?

Imagine our world transformed by the release of a irrational fear. For I believe that the real you never dies and we just return our vehicle ( your body ) back to the dealership ( Mother Earth ). We could then shift humanity into something greater and of more substance. Not just superficial things cling to.

Throughout history a lot of the evil, has been caused out of the human beings fear of death, but from the ashes we all rise again to reap the fruit we have sown in life. I implore you my friends to embrace the unknown without fear. Because loving in fear is living a lie, and a life lived as a lie, is a life deprived of true living.

The Best 5 Excercises for a Strong Core

Hello all my fellow Blissful Beings, I hope you are Living Your Bliss Life today and everyday!

Exercising and staying in shape is a crucial point in Living Your Bliss Life! I know that everyone wants to be healthy but do you want to be health is never the real question. Are you willing to put the work in to be healthy, is what you have to look deep inside your soul to find the answer!

I know that all of us have been through it. Sitting down one day, the thought makes its way into your head.  I should excercise, or I should workout, and maybe I will go for a run. Somewhere between the thought and the action motivation dies and you’re back binge watching a show.

My people, we can make that change that’ll push our lives into a state of Bliss! There’s a few simple excercises that dont require anything but a positive mental attitude(PMA) and some will power! With just those two things you can break the chains of aelfnonflocted suffering!

Our abdominal muscle are the core of our power. They are also a very big muscle group that requires a lot of targeted excercises to see the results you are looking for. But if you start with these five core Excercises, you’ll be feeling full of Bliss and energetic.

1.) Planks

This excercise is a perfect way to start any core Excercises! There’s a few variations to this excercise but no matter what variation this excercise guaranteed to strengthen all the muscles in your core.

2.) Mountain Climbers

This is the perfect transition excercise from planks. It requires you to maintain that same strength and balance but the active movement will make you burn more calories while also putting more emphasis the lower abs to drive your legs toward your chest. This excercise will make you break a sweat!

3.) Pilates Pose

This core excercise is going to engage the whole core but I find that my upper abs are pushed a little harder to maintain good posture and form. Holding this position is will require balance and strength, but it does pay dividends in creating the body you want!

4.) Leg Raises

I love doing this excercise because the motion itself is simple but yet requires a lot of mental and physical strength to do repetitively. This excercise targets your lower abs, challenging your stability and muscle control. It’s a great excercise to get rid of belly fat!

5.) Bicycles

My final excercise I recommend to get you started writing that core is bicycles. This is one of my favourite ab exercises to work the oblique muscles. This muscle group can sometimes get neglected but is very important in maintaining and supporting our lower back functions. I enjoy doing this excercise slow, you really begin to feel the burn through each rep!

The Best Indoor Trampoline for Kids

Love and Peace, all my Blissful Beings thanks for stopping by! Much grace be unto you and yours from my heart! As we all know, we are living in some historically crazy times right now. Breath…. my friends, “Every little thing, is going to be all right” as the late great Bob Marley says.

Being under quarantine may first seem like a huge inconvenience. Trust me, I get it! Everybody keeps calm! I got you covered with an awesome review on the best indoor trampoline for kids. This is a cool thing my wife, and I have purchased for our angel babies to add a little extra fun during quarantine.

Growing up, I never had a trampoline, but my cousins in Donaldsonville had one, and whenever we would go out to the country, I would love jumping on it. I would jump for what felt like hours! It was outside and when it would rain we couldn’t play on it. Fast forward over 15 years later, my wife and I are thinking of a birthday gift for our youngest son, and my wife has this brilliant idea to buy a trampoline.

Unfortunately, in the house we’re renting we cannot have a trampoline outside, but to my surprise they sell indoor trampolines that are very safe and sturdy. I heard of indoor trampolines but I did no research on it. However, my wife was all over it, she’s reading all the reviews and comparing prices. We finally decided on the perfect indoor trampoline that wasn’t too expensive but had great value for the price. Our kids absolutely flipped after my wife and I put it together and surprised them a few days after our youngest son birthday!

This trampoline was fairly easy to assemble. My wife and I put it together in around 30 to 40 minutes, we could’ve put it together faster, but we were playing around. Overall, it was fun to make and not very time consuming. I will suggest to you all to clean the pieces before assembling as they were a lot dirtier than I expected considering we bought it brand new.

Once we assembled the indoor trampoline, my wife and I carefully bounced in it one at a time for a few minutes, just to see how sturdy the frame and bungee cords were. We felt confident that this was a sturdy and safe indoor trampoline for our children to have some safe indoor fun.

Our children are absolutely in love with it! They wake up, put on socks and bounce in the morning, even before brushing their teeth because they are so excited to have fun on it. We allow them to jump two at a time, which works for us because even though there is space to fit a third child, we really want them to be safe!

I think purchasing an indoor trampoline is a brilliant investment in entertainment for children. It keeps them active; they work up a sweat, and if you let them use it before bed it helps them fall asleep easier because they exhaust themselves fairly quickly. Not to mention the joy they get from jumping with their siblings and the opportunities to teach lessons in patience and sharing that arise.

5 Tips To Have A Healthy Relationship With Your Children

Hello, all my Blissful Beings, I hope you are enjoying Life and spreading happiness! I am a father of four beautiful children. God has blessed my wife and I with three awesome boys and one amazing daughter. My wife and I had our first child in 2010, that year our life changed drastically. So many needs we didn’t know we had to learn, and we had to learn them fast! When my son was born I felt the Love in my heart deepen and expand to this little innocent angel. I knew that I had to make a lot of changes in my life to be the best dad I could be for my little guy.

Realizing that I needed to make changes and making those changes were two very different things, as I found it difficult in the beginning to wrap my mind around the immense responsibility that I now held. Luckily for me, my wife helped put a lot of things into perspective!

One thing that my wife helped me realize, was that no matter how hard I worked the relationship that I develop with him is the of the utmost importance. That is the number one priority and everything else comes after.

I was consumed with the idea that my primary function as a father was to provide and building a relationship would come in its own time. I was extremely wrong! Our children are what we strive and give our all for, but if we’re not giving our all to them, then it may be all for naught.

I thought about my dad, who I love very much, and how I felt growing up our relationship wasn’t very strong and how that affected me. Blissful Beings I just want you all to know that I just want to spread happiness to your life and one enormous piece of advice I can give is to aid in this is, take time to cultivate a healthy relationship with your children. The happiness that grows inside your heart is indescribable.

A few tips I can pass along to you to ensure a healthy relationship with your children are as follows.

1.) Practice Communicating Early:

It may sound simple and it is, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t super important! What I mean by this is asking how their day is going everyday even when they aren’t able to say anything back to you. It’s important to ask them questions and engage in them as individuals early and consistently as they mature. It lays the foundation for open communication as they grow. Practice makes perfect!

2.) Cuddle, Cuddle, Cuddle!!!

So I don’t know about you, but I love cuddling with my kids and they do. Not only is super fun, but it strengthens your emotional bond. I get it, you’re super busy all day and sometimes you’re tired from a long day. Take at least ten minutes out of your day to just hold your baby close and just enjoy being in their presence. I think doing this early and consistently is key to having a healthy relationship with your kids!

3.) Exercise With Your Kids!

This is one of my favorite things to do with my kiddos!!! I am addicted to staying fit and living a healthy lifestyle that promotes peace and bliss. I know that exercising directly facilitates joy in my life, and what better way to create a healthy relationship with your kids than to exercise with them. My children love getting on my back as I do push-ups or squats and sitting on my legs as I do leg lifts to work on my abs. After watching me workout and being little weights, they want to get in on the fun and do what I’m doing. We sweat together, we laugh together, and when the workout has ended, we relax together.

4.) Bed Time Stories:

My wife and I take turns getting our kids ready for bed and putting them to sleep. One of my kids favorite things I when it’s bedtime is tell stories. I remember when I was younger my father would tell my sister and I stories sometimes before bed and it used to make me feel so happy to fall asleep to listening to my dad’s voice. My technique is to ask each of them to pick something they would like to hear in a story, and then I make one up in my mind and tell it to them as they lay snug in theor beds. We establish a bond and build memories that they will keep with forever, and that helps us maintain a healthy relationship.

5.) Hug, Kisses, and I Love You:

So many of us grew up with parents that either didn’t express their love to us at all, or just not enough. My wife and make it a point to ensure that our children feel loved, not only by just the things we do for them but also in the facts we express it so much to them throughout the day. I hug my kiss and tickle them; I kiss my kids everyday throughout the day, and I’m sure they hear the words I Love You several hundred times every day! This is crucial in building a great relationship, because it builds confidence in themselves, let’s them know they are special, and it really boosts they’re self esteem!

I hope you find these tips helpful on your journey in parenthood! I know that having children has truly nurtured the evolution of my own soul. The journey of raising little children is definitely an act of raising your own inner child as well. This path can also become a walk of spiritual enlightenment through the surrendering of your ego and truly becoming apart of another’s life!!!!
